Purple Rain

 This was my first time using watercolors, it was really fun watercolors are great at dripping and blending.  This is a ground painting so I decided  to do a girl having fun in the rain

Starboy

This was my first time doing anything remotely abstract so it was a new experience for me. It is my favorite artist, the Weeknd, and things that symbolize him around him.

Blue Girl

This was piece we had to do using non local colors and I really like how it turned out. I've never painted with these types of colors before so it was really nice for me.

Blizzard

This piece made me recognize a hint of a theme in my works. I tend to lean more towards cool colors in most of my paintings. I relatively liked this piece, it's probably my favorite of the year. This was the first time I blended my paint in a way I liked.

Song Birds

These are two birds I did during our first time using molds. They never got fired but they were both blue birds.

Nature

This is the first piece I did in Ceramics, it was using coils and building upon them. At first I wanted to do a pot but it somehow started to become narrow towards the top so I made it into a tree trunk instead.

Bookend

This piece was from a slab project, and originally it was supposed to be a house but it broke. So I made it into a seashell bookend. 

Rainbow Rebirth

 

 

A piece drawn in sharpie, colored with watercolor. I like this the most out of everything I've done all year.

Future Vision

This is an acrylic piece of what I see my future being like.  I also used wet tissue paper to create the background.

Nutmeg

A pointilism piece of my calico kitten nutmeg, staring out the window in my house.

Don't

A piece I'd like to re-do...it was created in a moment of, frankly, absent-mindedness and has no real meaning behind it.
